Time travel and new insurance law
TODAY’S WORD is chockablock. Example: The shelves in the bookstore were chockablock with bestsellers and new releases.

Time travel
A reader challenged the Stroller to go to the O’Reilly Auto Parts website and search for the part number 121G.
The Stroller likes a challenge so we looked it up and it took us to a flux capacitor.
If you’re familiar with the movie “Back to the Future” you probably remember the flux capacitor was the core component of Dr. Emmett Brown’s time traveling DeLorean. In the movie, Brown said it was “what makes time travel possible.”

The O’Reilly unit runs on plutonium, has a 121 Gigawatt capacity and works at 88 mph.
Plutonium must be purchased separately and the unit requires the stainless steel body of DeLorean to properly function.
The disclaimer at the bottom of the page says “Non-functional item displayed for entertainment purposes only.”
Who said an auto parts company couldn’t have a sense of humor!
New insurance law
Starting this month, Virginia has a new auto insurance law.
Previously, Virginia allowed drivers to register a car without purchasing car insurance. Instead of buying car insurance, drivers could pay a fee to the state when registering a vehicle. The fees accumulated in the Uninsured Motorists Fund reduced the cost of uninsured motorist coverage in the state.
As of July 1, the new law stipulates that all drivers must purchase a minimum amount of auto insurance. Drivers who have avoided paying for a minimum liability policy until now will no longer have that option.
Also, effective Jan. 1, the minimum liability limits in Virginia are increasing, so you might need to adjust your coverage.
Chuckle
The waitress asked the customer if he was enjoying his pizza.
“Don’t ask me about my pan pizza,” said the customer. “It’s personal.”
Two pirates were talking and one had a patch over one eye, a hook for a hand and a wooden peg leg.
“What happened to ya?” asks the pirate to the other.
“Me pirate ship was attacked and a lucky shot lopped off me leg.”
“And yer hand?” he asks.
“When me ship sank, a shark bit off me hand, so now I got me a hook?”
“And what about yer eye patch?” he asked.
“I was standin’ on the dock, and a seagull flies in me face.”
The other pirate says “But her don’t go blind from that do yer?”
“No mate, but it was me first day with the hook.”
