Berkshire Hathaway Insurance Unit Seeks to Deny D&O Coverage

A Berkshire Hathaway Inc. insurance unit sued a software company, asking the court to clarify whether directors and officers policies afforded coverage for the company’s legal bills and a judgment in underlying intellectual property litigation.

Vector Flow Inc. was sued over allegations that its founders violated noncompete agreements by using proprietary information that belonged to their previous employer.
